Haiku poetry and photography are both focusing on Time: understanding time and capturing the moments are their basic characteristics. Haiku poems are snapshots, a study of nature, where the scene is tackled in words. Photography sets the view through the reflection of light. What are the points I should grab when searching for the common denominator? These are the Time, the rhythm of nature and the light which sets all of them. Photography and haiku poetry have their different approaches when relating to Time. In this photobook, I am looking for the meeting point of the two directions. My interpretation is to rethink nature through impressions and imprints.
